My gems are finally at West Elm, Palo Alto!

Super excited to have my gems in West Elm’s new Palo Alto store. They ordered eight but I have a feeling I will have to make them more. These came out beautifully and the pictures don’t even do them justice. They are made from reclaimed wood I got from The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano when I made the giant garden gems for them. Four are mahogany, and the others are unidentified but have gorgeous grain.

Here are some items for sale this weekend, August 4th and 5th at my “Driftwood” pop-up bicycle shop. I’ll be riding my bike around San Francisco and setting up shop out of my trailer at Dolores Park, the Castro, North Beach and a couple of other spots. Follow me on Instagram and Twitter @keyandkite to keep posted on the shop’s whereabouts. I accept card through Square and cash of course!

Here’s some of the gems I’ve made over the years. I was first commissioned to make these for the great David Rager for a bar he was working on in Paris. They sell at the beautiful General Store in the Sunset District of San Francisco, California (currently sold out).
